The composition and characteristics of the drug
The fine crystalline powder that comes with the kit is a mixture of the erythromycin antibiotic and zinc salt. Active substances are dispensed undiluted to increase the shelf life of the drug. Solvent is a combination of ethyl helix and diisopropyl sebacate. Each of the substances is selected in a special proportion and plays its own role.

- Zinc salt. It has dermatoprotective properties: it normalizes the work and structure of the epidermis. The substance regulates the activity of sebum production, differs astringent, drying, anti-inflammatory effects.
- Diisopropyl sebacate. This substance transports the active components deep into the epidermis, provides an even distribution of the powder in suspension, and also acts as a moisturizing component. The latter effect is realized by creating a thin film on the surface of the dermis. Often it is she who causes discomfort to patients, causing a feeling of tightness. However, the same film retains the active substances on the surface of the skin, allowing them to work as long as possible.
- Ethanol. It has antiseptic, drying properties, stimulates the detachment of keratinized epithelial particles. This is necessary for opening comedones - manifestations of the comedonolytic effect of the drug.
Cooking
To prepare the medicine, you need to pour the liquid component into a container with powder. Not vice versa, because zinc is very “dusty”. Then you need to tighten the cap and shake the bottle vigorously. After preparing the suspension, the bottle is opened and an applicator (a plastic ring with a blue mesh) is put on its neck. The tool works like a cosmetic pencil.
The finished suspension contains about 1.5% zinc salt and 4% erythromycin. The solution is clear, does not leave white marks on the skin even after it has completely dried.
Indications
Does acne medicine work fast? The main indication for the use of the drug is acne. These include black dots, closed comedones. But the antibiotic in the composition allows you to use "Zenerit" and with white acne, inflamed suppuration, subcutaneous formations.

When applying Zenerit, one should remember the phenomenon of cross-resistance. If recently (up to the spirit of months ago) the patient used tablets or local preparations with macrolides in the composition, bacteria may become addicted to the action of these antibiotics. In such cases, the drug will be ineffective. An interval of at least two to three months should be maintained.
Application
Using the drug is very simple - just apply it on the surface of the skin, prone to rashes, twice a day.
- In the morning. This is done after water procedures, but before makeup. The drug is completely invisible under tinting agents, but does not allow them to contaminate the pores.
- In the evening. Use after cleansing the epidermis. When the skin is dry, a moisturizer is applied on top, but it is necessary to wait until the medicine has completely dried.
The bottle is turned down, slightly pressed on it and carried out over the affected areas. The harder you press, the more medicine gets on the skin. The average dosage for a single application is 0.5 ml. An overdose is not possible due to the tissue dispenser.
"Zenerit" is used in a course of ten to 12 weeks. Results are already visible in the fourth to sixth week of regular use. The disappearance of the rash is not a reason to stop therapy. It is necessary to complete the treatment in order to completely remove the pathogen from the superficial and deep structures of the skin, and prevent relapse.
Contraindications
Zinerit is a drug with a serious composition. As a prevention, it is not used. This is fraught with a violation of microflora, the appearance of dryness and peeling.
Do not use the medicine if there is mechanical damage in the areas of the intended application. Also among the contraindications is individual sensitivity to any of the components of the drug. You can check the reaction by applying a little solution to the inside of the wrist. If burning and swelling does not occur - everything is in order. But do not exclude the risk of allergies over time (this happens with antibiotics).
